Urologist Near Me: The Best In Kansas City

Many people have concerns about the health of their urologic system. A number of issues can develop with the male and female urinary systems, including chronic and acute infections, kidney disease, and kidney stones to name a few. If you’re looking for an experienced urologist near me, look no further than Dr. Capoccia at his Kansas City urology practice.

My Medical Education:

I studied human biology at the University of Kansas and completed my medical school training at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. My research included looking into what factors might be linked to prostate cancer, erectile dysfunction, and other issues that affect men’s health. After completing my residency, I knew I wanted to focus on urology because it’s an area where a doctor can have a big impact. I’m proud to say that as a urologist near me, I’m able to provide excellent care for patients from all over the city.

My Experiences As A Resident:

My first year of residency was an extremely challenging experience. I had to balance my time between patient care, lectures, and clinical rotations, learning how to be a physician, and figuring out what kind of physician I wanted to be. I learned that the hours were long and it was easy to become burned out when you are doing something you don’t enjoy. During the second year of residency, my burnout was cured when I began working with some of the best urologists near me.

Testimonials From Previous Patients:

Procedures are the most common type of treatment for urological problems. Procedures may include transurethral resection, cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, or more complex surgeries such as prostatectomy and penile implant surgery. Patients often will require a different type of procedure depending on the location and cause of their problem.

Why I Chose This Field?

Throughout my undergraduate education, I was always interested in the medical field. My studies focused on human biology and I learned about many of the different careers that could be pursued by someone with this degree. In my spare time, I also watched a lot of documentaries and read books about other people’s experiences with different diseases and surgeries. This sparked an interest in me to pursue a career as a physician.
I had never really thought about urology until one day during my junior year of college when I saw an advertisement for it at a job fair for those who were looking for internships. It piqued my curiosity so I took some time to research the field and talk to some professionals.

What Do I Do For Procedures?

I am a urologist, and I have been one for twenty years. My expertise is in the treatment of disorders of the male reproductive system, prostate cancer, incontinence, erectile dysfunction, and ejaculatory problems. I perform both surgical and non-surgical procedures to address these issues.
In this post, I’ll discuss how I treat prostate cancer with surgery. Some procedures require a general anesthetic while others use a local anesthetic with light sedation or intravenous sedation.
